Exterior Wood Restoration, Hammock Patio Feature in Venice, FL

Project Details

We completed an exterior wood restoration project of a hammock patio feature in Venice, FL. This project had a hammock on a patio surrounded by Teak wood. A full restoration of any tropical hardwood takes special planning and care. Teak hardwoods typically are reconditioned with a semi-transparent stain. The choice of coloring is vital so that we do not cover up the beautiful texture and grain of the teak wood. We start with a light sanding @ 220 grit sandpaper and then apply a professional commercial grade sealer. We let it dry, then lightly sand again, and repeat the process until the desired results are achieved.
